PARK Folly Beach
The purpose and mission of the enhanced PARK Folly Beach parking program is to balance the needs of the community given the increasing demands and evolving dynamics in and around the beach-access parking lots and paid street parking areas in Folly Beach. With an emphasis on operational best practices, the PARK Folly Beach program shall better facilitate access to convenient and available parking spaces for residents and beach-visitors. The new program will also emphasize customer-friendly initiatives and services; with paid parking revenues to be utilized to maintain clean facilities and restrooms, and ensure the application of new technology to better serve patrons and stakeholders.

HOW TO AVOID A PARKING TICKET
- Download the Passport Parking app to pay by phone. You get text or email reminders when your parking is about to expire!
- Take a picture or remember your vehicle plate number and enter it into the parking paystation correctly.
- If you are a resident, be sure to apply for a Residential Parking Decal. Make sure the decal is placed on the lower left corner of the windshield. More information is found under the Residential Parking Decals tab.
- If you choose to take park on-street, you are responsible for knowing the City’s parking rules

DO YOU OFFER THE ABILITY TO PAY WITH A SMARTPHONE APP?
WHAT HOURS ARE PAID PARKING IN AFFECT?
Paid parking is in effect every day from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
IS THERE A LIMIT ON HOW LONG I CAN PARK EACH DAY?
No parking in the paid areas from overnight 10pm-6am. There is also a 2-hour parking limit on Center Street.
WHEN DO I NOT HAVE TO PAY TO PARK?
All Park Folly Beach parking kiosks are free after 8:00 PM every day. Parking is free on Center Street and all side streets. However, always reference the signage to ensure parking is free and never block a private driveway. In addition, parking is free on these holidays (unless otherwise announced): Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. It is your responsibility to know all parking regulations.
